What is the Teen Ensemble?

The Alliance Theatre Teen Ensemble is a group of high school students from all over Metro-Atlanta, who are interested in performance, writing, and theater production. The goal of the Teen Ensemble program is to give Atlanta area high school students an inside look into the work being done at the Alliance Theatre, and provide opportunities to create world class theater experiences with a teen perspective.

What does this group do/ What is the time commitment?

The Teen Ensemble attends 1st previews and Meet & Greets with the cast and crew of all Alliance Theatre productions, writes reviews for every show in our season, attends monthly workshops with Alliance Theatre Teaching Artists and Guest Artists from all over the country, and works with Alliance Staff and Guest Artists to create both traditional and experimental theater pieces throughout the season. The 16/17 Teen Ensemble will meet for two full weeks in July 2016, approximately twice per month during the year, and two to three full weeks in June 2017.

Am I right for the Teen Ensemble/ How can I be a part of this program?

A total of 16 – 20 rising Juniors and Seniors are chosen for the Teen Ensemble each year.  It is not necessary to be an actor or performer to be a part of the Teen Ensemble, but all applicants must audition and interview to be considered. Auditions will be held on the following days:
